Ronnie Moore is an English football manager and former player, born on January 29, 1953. He had a successful playing career with stints at Tranmere Rovers, Cardiff City, Rotherham United, Charlton Athletic, and Rochdale. Moore played for Tranmere Rovers from 1971 to 1979. After retiring as a player in 1989, he became a manager, leading several clubs including Rotherham United, Tranmere Rovers, and Hartlepool United. He is currently the chief scout at Hartlepool United. Moore had three spells as the manager of Tranmere Rovers, with his most recent stint ending in the 2014-2015 season. He has won 87 out of 204 games as the manager of Tranmere Rovers.
